2013 Street and Trophy
Pulled this off Visordown this morning:

I like the Street with the under-muffler; the Trophy is a bit of ringer for the RT1200 BMW though, but I bet another winner from Triumph I'm sure.

Great pictures both look good wonder if the trophy will replace the 1050 tiger now that the Explorer is out

Re: 2013 Street and Trophy
They would seem to overlap--at least in the customers I've seen that are interested in a sport-tourer. Thing is, sport-tourers have been down as a whole lately--hence, the nixing of the Sprint GT it looks like.
There has been a movement towards utilitarian bikes. The new Trophy may actually do better than the 1050 has as of late. The 1050 is iconic at this point but long in the tooth, and the Trophy could be a move towards a more clearly-defined sport tourer and consolidate more or less the Tiger 1050 with the Sprint GT. An upright but fairinged bike with lots of luggage potential--and more motor.
This could also be a response to the success of the Tiger 800 sort of cannibalizing 1050 sales a bit with its "value" punch. It is very hard to choose the 1050 over the 800 given just how much you can do with the smaller middleweight.
But, who knows...
